Usual Korean bbq place.
Criteria for a typical Korean bbq place:
1. Portions are pretty big. CHECK
2. They offer side dishes. CHECk
3. There are a good selections of proteins. CHECK
4. The owner is your cashier. CHECk
5. MOST IMPORTANT....The owner(s) rarely smiles or seems happy....LOL
This place is definitely a typical Korean BBQ.
I know because I'm not just a customer but I'm a Korean, good luck making me smile :) -

Disappointed. The sevice was very slow. The counter person took five orders before asking the first person
what her choices of sides she wanted. This caused a back up. The cooks had to wait for the plates so they could start cooking. The entrees looked like the gave alot but it was mostly rice. The portion of seaweed and daikon sides I had was generous. The Spicy Pork entree I'll give three stars. -

One of the best korean I have had in Hawaii. Got spicy chicken. I don't understand why the rating is below 4. Kimchi and vegetables were also great

Located in the Windward Mall my mom stumbled across this yummy Korean take out in the food court. So far we tried spicy pork, bbq chicken, beef bull kogi, meat jun, bbq beef, bbq pork, well almost all lol. The food is so tasty! Especially their banchan!

I have seen this place many times while visiting Windward Mall and decided to try it out. I like how there are many Korean veggies to choose from. Picked the kimchi cucumbers, bean sprouts, spinach, and some seaweed. The kimchi cucumbers weren't all spicy like some were spicy and some weren't. Maybe they were from different batches, not sure. But overall the vegetables were delicious. I tried the beef bulgogi. It was surprisingly flat but tender. Wasn't too salty. Might try it out again when I'm in the area.
